This is from ERICA! =)

Hi Mommy and Daddy! =)
Vera Cruz has been so much fun! We've painted alot and layed brick at some churches. It's pretty hot here and it can be rather miserably humid. Every night I have gone with Andy and Ornies to their church to see them preach and that has been alot of fun. After the crusade each night a lady who goes to the church owns a routisserie and we go to her place and eat chicken tacos, they're amazing! Wednesday we went snorkeling and it was amazing. We also ended up at an underground island that was beautiful with clear blue water and sand dollars everywhere. I have never seen a sand dollar that is alive so that was pretty cool. Then I found a sand dollar that was dead and was the most perfectly complete one I had ever seen. Unfortunately when I tried to keep it they told me I had to put it back cause it was protected waters and you aren't allowed to take anything from it. Tomorrow we're going shopping and I'm gonna get ya'll something as well as Megan some bracelets. I love you all and can't wait to show you the pictures!

tuesday

so today we didnt have to work, so i and the other workers were really excited about that. we almost got to go to the beach, but then there wouldnt have been enough time. but then we went to lunch and sang happy birthday to joey, and he got a tres leches cake, just like eddie did. it was really good. the meetings are going really well, and im going to kaylyn and eddies site, and now eddie is translating, and im going to be singing every night. and tomorrow we're going to go snorkeling!!! we're all excited. bye!!

Im finally leaving a blog because Mr. Reeve talked me into it

So far the trip is going very well...the worst thing about it, is we arent getting very much sleep. the frist day when we had our long jurney in the bus ride was the worst, me and joey couldn't find ourselves asleep much longer then a half hour at a time...but once we got here they got us a huge meal and it was very interesting. i didnt eat to much of it but the boys who did sure enjoyed it...to get a little farther into the trip we pretty much work all day or help others practice for their sermons...the whether is starting to get to me, i dont know how much hotter it can get before i melt away

last night we were having worship and you could feel that God was there with us... Victor was telling stories about some people him and Mr. Reeve went to visit and it spoke to us all, and it got me thinking about a lt of thing...then after all of it was over we desided to pray one last time before going to sleep and after the prayer we started singing come in to my heart Lord Jesus, the Victor yelled out no one move and he told ua to look at what shape we were in...it was a heart! so that about all i want to say for now!!!
Here I am on the internet for the first time since arriving in Mexico. It was hard getting to this since everything in spanish and the two people in this room who speak won't help me with the words. Anyway, during the day, I am donig construction and at night taking pictures of people doing their sermons. I am assigned to the Taylor/Moffit disrict. I mostly go to Moffit and Melissa's site but Kenia and Taylor want to go to their site. Yesterday I went to Taylor's church, but today I want to go back to Moffit's. Moffit's church is a new church, so new that we were laying bricks in the back on Sunday. Well that's it for now.

Harrow Everyone!!

I didnt think i would actually be doing any blogs... im kinda being forced... ha ha but its ok:) I am having so much fun here! Its getting really hot now, but its pretty here!! nothing like some green!! Palm trees everywere!! Good stuff... Today was fun because my good friend kenia embarrased me!! Since today is my birthday, she had all the elementry kids sing to me! ha ha but it was cool... thanks ken:) But yea and for some reason we dont have to do construction today!! YAY! so were going to the beach after we eat!(hopefully) Its been really cool with everyone here... Its so cool that everyone is getting so close.. Its amazing! And man, God is really working here... We have had a few bumps in the road, but He has really pulled us out and reminded us that we have nothing to worry about. Its crazy to see God work when you can actually open your eyes and see it... Please keep praying for us here! It has been awesome so far! And i hope and pray that it will continue that way... Thanks guys! we love you!! See All ya'll in a few days!!

crazyness (but good)

well the weather here is awesome, and im really liking everything. the food is good, as always, and the people have their trademark friendliness. the only things that have gone wrong, is that wednesday and thursday were mushed together, and today, for the evening meetings, martin, joey d., and myself weren't picked up. so we sat in the hotel lobby till about 7ish, then we crossed the street to the Adventist church where Pastor Ledezma was speaking. so tomorrow night, im hopefully going to be going to another church. anyways, got another busy day tomorrow, and 6 am comes fast.

Sabbath

It seems that if it could go wrong it did. Kaylen's electricity went out about 2 minutes into her sermon and she and Rosie Wilson had to do it without the aid of a computer or slides. Elder Reeve's computer shut down after the first 1/3 of the slides and it took a while to get things back going. Jonothan Ornales also had problems with his computer. However, God is good and the reactions from the church members have been fantastic!

The students have been so busy that hardly anyone has had time to blog yet. Every minute has been spent in work, practicing, worship, practicing, eating, and oh did mention practicing? I have been very very rewarding. Oh my ride came just now for the evening program. See Ya Soon!

MeliC's Preaching

Well today I got to preach. OUr Church is Really small. It has like 20 people it felt like talking to half of our school. Well I did good I guess, and by good I mean I only hesitated like 3 times.. But I feel very confident. I'm glad that I got to have this opportunity to come and talk to people Please keep us in your prayers. Everyone is preaching tonight and we all need prayer. Love you guys, miss you, Dios los Bendiga!

At Albuquerque Airport (Click 2 times on Picture)

Unforgetable

Well so far this trip has been very exciting and an unforgetable experience! Today we visited and had so much fun in the beach that borders the gulf of Mexico. But is was hilarious how Mr. Moffit kept going farther into the ocean and time after time he got in trouble from the lifeguard. he was acting like a little in kid in a 6' 4' body! Also after we got out of having fun in the ocean, Mr Reeve got many of us mangos on a stick. They were super delicious! With all the lemon and chile on it, it made it a superb treat!

hi people

we all made it ok. we didnt really have a fun time trying to sleepin the bus on the six hour drive down to veracruz, once we got here we showered and had worship and breakfest then we went on a tor and went to a prison similar to a miniture alcatraz and it is completly made of coral. then we ate lunch and went to the ocean and i threw up after drinking some salt water, but i feel quite better now. now we are about to have dinner and go to the local market

We Arrived!

Hey everyone, we got to Mexico City early and were met by Elder Ledezma and three pastors. Everything moved fine through customs and we got on the bus by 12:30 AM. The ride was fine (for me as I slept most of the way) and we got to Veracruz about 6:15 AM. We were able to check into the motel early and get cleaned up before going to breakfast. We then took a tour of the harbor and an old fort. Now we are going to lunch and then the beach. More Later!

Today is the Day!!!

Wow! We have made it. All that are going on the trip are in need of your prayers. There are great things that God has planned for us, and the neatest thing is, He knows how we need to grow. Praise His name. God has truth for us to tell and it is my prayer that He be lifted up in Veracruz. Thank you for your support.

yei! we are leaving!!!

We are meeting at the airport at 3:30, we will see you there.
